It is hard… But you should get out of you comfort zone…

Why?

Do you wake up with energy for something you are working on?

Would you like to spend the rest of your life the same way you are spending it right now?

Do you love what you do?

Are you happy?

Do you like the 5 people you spend the most time with?

Do you have a healthy lifestyle?

If your answer is NO, then you should really start taking action and changing your life…

Why is it that we tend to get comfortable with the familiar and our routines, but when we’re introduced to new and interesting things, the glimmer fades so quickly? Finally, what benefit do we derive from breaking out of our comfort zone, and how do we do it?

Simply, your comfort zone is a behavioral space where your activities and behaviors fit a routine and pattern that minimizes stress and risk. It provides a state of mental security. You benefit in obvious ways: regular happiness, low anxiety, and reduced stress.

Comfort-Zone

What do you really get when you’re willing to step outside of your comfort zone?

  • You’ll be more productive.
  • You’ll have an easier time dealing with new and unexpected changes.
  • You’ll find it easier to push your boundaries in the future.
  • You’ll find it easier to brainstorm and harness your creativity.

Here are some ways to break out (and by proxy, expand) your comfort zone without going too far:

  • Do everyday things differently.
  • Take your time making decisions.
  • Trust yourself and make snap decisions.
  • Do it in small steps.
  • Make a fool of yourself.
  • Know that worst thing that can happen when you try something new is that you might fail.
  • Face your fears.
  • Become comfortable with taking risks.
  • Most of the greatest lessons in life are learned by taking risks and living outside of your comfort zone.
  • Enjoy the unknown.

But… You can’t live outside of your comfort zone all the time. You need to come back from time to time to process your experiences.

I love what I do. I love my lifestyle. I love waking up in the morning. I love growing every day as a person, travelling, learning news things every minute without wasting time. I could spend the rest of my life like that… But I want more… I love the people I spend the most time with… I am happy for now…

You can read my story achieving success after 1 year struggling… losing and risking… crying and celebrating…

Two days before leaving Cancún to Orlando I started to feel a pressure on my left ear… It seemed something normal… Flying too much, partying too much, working too much… Being in several countries and in different hemispheres can affect…

But as soon as I arrived in Orlando and for a few days I had even a worse feeling… My hearing was affected…

So I went to see a doctor… And after all tests… He said that it could be something related to a nerve and he wrote down something about a benign tumour in the nerve that connects the ear to the brain… And that I needed to see a specialist…

Now imagine that moment…

I thought… Fuck… All I did to achieve all I have now… How hard I worked… And now It could be gone…

Even though I am most of the time out of my comfort zone…

This is a clear example on how small things can change your life… Why we react like that and we try to find a solution?

But no one does when they know that they are unhappy, they hate their jobs, their lives, their relatives, their lifestyle…

Short story… I went to the specialist and after many tests… Doctor said no tumour…

After asking him: Are you sure 100%? He said it could be an allergy…

Things that I learnt and I knew:

  • We are nothing in this world.
  • Enjoy the little moments.
  • Be out of your comfort zone as much as possible.
  • Don’t worry about things until you know the bad or good news.
  • Take care of your health: mind and body.
  • Fight for your dreams.

Most important one: Live as if you were to die tomorrow (Carpe Diem).
